Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.
What truth?
There is no spoon.
There is no spoon?
Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

Updated Photos section

I have changed my photo's section a little. Instead of IFraming my flickr site into Skeetzhappens, I have Iframed my flickr slide show into Skeetzhappens. I think I like this a bit better. Seemed like an easy way to make things a bit better and more functional.

Also, I updated that link from saying Flickr photos to just Photo's.

Enjoy.

Interesting and not usual.

This is one of the first weekends in a long time that I have not had the option of going and hanging out with Eric, Angie, and Ellie. It's kind of wierd.

Anyway, that's all I got for now.

Weekend of Floating

Well, this weekend was spent doing some much needed unwinding. Friends and I went on a grand adventure into the wilderness to go floating on one of Missouri's fine river's in central Missouri. We braved the mighty meramec river in Steeleville, MO at Garrison's Floating Resort.

Some of the many sights to be seen included over 20 turtles sunning on logs, I think two snakes (maybe), many empty Guinness cans (around the fire), and more.

I now have an official floating hat, courtesy of Wade and Eric. May the hat brave many floats to come. This years float trip could be deemed the year of Eddie Bauer. Due to the gear that I picked up at Target last minute being almost all Eddie Bauer.

One of my only regrets this weekend, was not having a waterproof camera so that I could share the wonderful sights with whom ever visits this site or my flickr page.

Server Blade Technology Research

I am working on a cool project for work that will dramaticly impact how we deliver information to our customers. As part of this project I am trying to figure out the best way to increase the infrastructure in our datacenter, while being space, energy, cost, and scalability concious. This has thrown me into the realm of blade server technology. So far I have looked at HP, Dell, and IBM. I think that so far I like HP the best. I am intrigued by HP's option of a rackmount and tower configurations. I didn't think that I would come accross a tower model blade architecture.

Check out the link below for what I have stumbled upon.
